Babbler Audio ("we," "us," or "our") operates the BabblerTTS website and the BabblerTTS and BabblerASR desktop applications. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
2. Our Apps Do Not Collect Data
BabblerTTS and BabblerASR run entirely on your Mac. They do not connect to any server. All voice cloning, text-to-speech, and transcription processing happens locally on your device. Specifically:
- No audio, voice samples, or transcriptions are sent anywhere
- No telemetry or analytics are collected
- No usage data is tracked
- No internet connection is required to use the apps
- Your data never leaves your device
3. Information We Collect on the Website
The only information we collect is through our website when you create an account and make a purchase:
3.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed version of your password. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers.
3.2 Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. We retain your Stripe customer ID, purchase records, and transaction amounts for order fulfillment and support.
3.3 Download Logs
When you download a purchased application, we log the download timestamp and your IP address to prevent abuse and for support purposes.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To process purchases and deliver downloads
- To generate and store license keys for your purchases
- To respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising. We do not share your information with third parties except as required to process payments.
5. Third-Party Services
Our website uses the following third-party services:

- Supabase — database and file hosting. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — website hosting. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
Our desktop applications do not use any third-party services or make any network requests.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and purchase information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with access to your purchased products. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

8. Security
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Sessions use encrypted cookies. Downloads are served via time-limited signed URLs. All communication with our website uses HTTPS.

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
